Objects that earn their place on a bench.

A precision desk object is in development, and the pipeline that produces it is a deliverable in its own right.

Objects and services

A stand to work at. It is designed to hold the angle you set and to reach over a bench, a drawing or the edge of a table.

The version in development is for indoor use.

Nothing is offered for sale. Dimensions, materials and construction are deliberately not published.

Concept through to a manufacturer package. Sketch, 3D model, printed prototype, tolerance and manufacturability review, bill of materials, and a request-for-quote set written so a supplier can price it rather than interpret it.

We run this pipeline on our own products.

Good fit: hardware startups approaching initial tooling, and established products that need their documentation rebuilt.

The pipeline

Five steps, and the package at the end is the point.

Step 01 – 02

Concept, then drawing

The idea gets named and mapped before anything is modeled: the problem territory, the existing solutions, and an honest test of whether it is worth building at all. Many concepts end here, which is the purpose of the stage.

Step 03 – 04

Model, then print

A 3D model, a printed prototype and a physical fit check before a single tolerance is committed. Data picks the part. An assumption that has not been measured does not get to become a specification.

Step 05

Manufacturer package

Drawings, bill of materials, tolerance and manufacturability notes, and a request-for-quote set written so a supplier can quote it rather than interpret it.
